Little Yuri, the baby monkey, sat on a tree branch with her tiny arms crossed, pouting. Her fluffy tail twitched in frustration. Mama Tia tried to reach out and touch her, but Yuri quickly scooted away.

“No, Mama! I’m mad at you!” she huffed, turning her back.

Mama Tia sighed, trying not to laugh. “Oh, Yuri, what did I do this time?”

Yuri puffed out her little cheeks. “You didn’t let me climb the big tree like the big monkeys! I want to do it myself!”

Mama smiled gently. “But, sweet one, that tree is too high. You could get hurt.”

“I don’t care! I’m big now!” Yuri stomped her tiny feet on the branch.

The other monkeys giggled from a distance. “Uh-oh, Yuri is having another dramatic moment!”

Yuri heard them and gasped. “I am not dramatic!” she cried, throwing her little arms up. But the moment she did, she lost her balance—whoops!—and tumbled right into Mama’s arms.

Mama Tia caught her just in time. “See, my little star? You still need me.”

Yuri pouted but couldn’t deny it—Mama always kept her safe.

With a tiny sigh, she snuggled into Mama’s warm fur. “Okay… but next time, can I try climbing a smaller tree first?”

Mama Tia laughed, kissing her little forehead. “Of course, my love. One step at a time.”

And just like that, Yuri’s dramatic anger melted into a happy cuddle.
