Pavpav’s Pillow Tantrum

Comments Off on Pavpav’s Pillow Tantrum

It was supposed to be nap time, but little Pavpav had other plans.

He wanted milk.

He wanted cuddles.

He wanted everything—except to nap.

Mom had just fluffed his soft pillow and gently tucked him in. But the moment she walked out, Pavpav sat up with a loud huff, puffing his cheeks and crossing his arms like a tiny storm cloud.

Then came the first whimper.
Then the second.
And then—the full-on tantrum.

“Waaah! Eeeh! Eeee!!” he screamed, flopping face-down on the pillow. He kicked his feet and rolled around, his tiny fists thumping the fluffy surface. The pillow poofed up around him like a soft battlefield.

Pavpav sobbed louder and louder, until it seemed like his little voice might pop.

Mom peeked in from the door, whispering gently, “Pavpav, what’s wrong, my sweet?”

But he wasn’t ready to stop. He threw himself dramatically onto his back, tears streaking his cheeks, and gave one more high-pitched yell that echoed through the whole house.

Mom walked in, picked him up, and sat on the bed, holding him close. “You’re just tired and don’t know what to do with those big feelings, huh?”

Pavpav buried his face into her chest, sniffling, letting his body calm down. Slowly, his breath steadied. His arms relaxed. He peeked up with tired, glossy eyes.

Mom laid him back down gently, placing his favorite soft cloth beside him.

“Let’s rest, little one,” she said.

Within moments, Pavpav’s eyes began to flutter shut. The tantrum was over. His tiny body melted into the pillow, this time peacefully.

Sometimes, even baby monkeys just need a safe space to cry it out—then fall asleep knowing someone still loves them through every scream and sniffle. 💗🛏️🐒
