It was a peaceful afternoon in the jungle. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping, and Mama Monkey was gathering fruits while little Minea played nearby.
Everything was calm… until—
“WOOHOOO!!”
A loud scream echoed through the trees. Mama Monkey and Minea spun around, their eyes widening in shock.
There, hanging upside down from a super thin branch, was none other than Yuri!
“Oh goodness, Yuri!” Mama gasped. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!”
Minea covered her mouth. “Yuri, you’re gonna fall!”
But Yuri just grinned. “No, I won’t! Look! I can swing with one hand!”
Before they could stop him, he let go with one hand and waved. “TA-DA—AAAHH!!”
The thin branch snapped!
Yuri tumbled through the air, flipping and flailing. “WAAAAHHH!”
Mama and Minea both screamed, but just before Yuri hit the ground—
THUMP! He landed right into a pile of soft banana leaves.
Silence.
Minea blinked. “Are… are you okay?”
Yuri sat up, shook his head, and grinned. “THAT. WAS. AWESOME!!”
Mama Monkey put her hands on her hips, her tail twitching. “Yuri! You scared us half to death!”
Yuri scratched his head. “Oops… sorry, Mama. But it was kinda fun!”
Minea laughed. “Next time, maybe try fun without almost breaking your tail?”
Mama sighed but smiled. “Come here, you little troublemaker.”
And with that, Yuri got a big hug—but also a long talk about not scaring Mama ever again!
