Baby Monkey Lily is Crying

Comments Off on Baby Monkey Lily is Crying

Deep in the jungle, under the shade of a tall mango tree, a tiny baby monkey named Lily sat on a thick branch, her big round eyes filled with tears. She hugged her little arms around herself, her tiny body trembling as soft sobs escaped her lips.

She had been playing with the other baby monkeys when she suddenly lost sight of her mother. The rustling leaves and distant calls of the jungle felt scary without her mama by her side.

“Mama… where are you?” Lily whimpered, wiping her teary eyes.

The wind whispered through the trees, but no answer came. She sniffled and curled up, feeling so small and alone.

Just then, a familiar voice called out, filled with warmth and concern.

“Lily! My sweet baby, where are you?”

Lily’s ears perked up, and she looked around. “Mama?” she called back, hope shining in her watery eyes.

From above, her mother, Tia, swung gracefully from a branch, her face lighting up as she spotted her little one. In an instant, she wrapped her arms around Lily, pulling her close.

“Oh, my precious Lily, I was so worried,” Tia whispered, kissing her baby’s tear-streaked face.

Lily clung to her mother, her cries turning into quiet sniffles. “I thought I lost you, Mama.”

Tia smiled, rocking her gently. “You could never lose me, my love. I will always find you.”

Feeling safe in her mother’s arms, Lily let out a tiny yawn. She was no longer scared. She was home.

And as the golden sunlight filtered through the trees, baby Lily drifted off to sleep, wrapped in the warmth of her mother’s love.
