The morning routine was underway, and baby monkey Harry was in one of his clingiest moods. His mom, busy with chores, tried to place him down for a moment, hoping he’d stay calm and play nearby. But Harry had no intention of letting her out of his sight.

As soon as she turned to step away, Harry’s cries erupted like a storm. His tiny body trembled dramatically as he flopped onto the floor, letting out sharp, high-pitched cries. His little hands reached toward her, and his tail flicked in frustration.

His mom paused, glancing back at the pitiful sight of her little one convulsing on the ground as if his world was ending. “Harry, baby, I’ll be right back,” she said gently, trying to reassure him. But her words only made him louder.

Harry’s sobs grew sharper, his small frame shaking with exaggerated convulsions. His cries filled the house, each one more desperate than the last. He rolled onto his side, his tiny fists pounding the floor as his legs kicked in protest.

His mom sighed, knowing she couldn’t ignore her spoiled little boy. She walked back and scooped him into her arms. The moment she held him, Harry’s sobs softened into pitiful sniffles. He buried his face into her chest, clinging tightly as if to say, Don’t ever leave me again.

His mom kissed his forehead and chuckled softly. “You really are a little drama king, aren’t you?” she said, stroking his head.

Harry stayed glued to her, his tail wrapping securely around her arm. For Harry, there was no greater comfort than being close to his mom. And for her, no matter how dramatic, his love was always worth it.
