It was a sunny afternoon in the forest clearing, and the playful siblings, Kaka and Mit, were up to their usual mischief. While their mother was busy gathering food nearby, Kaka decided to play a prank on his little brother.
“Kaka, what are you up to?” Mit asked suspiciously as his older brother grinned mischievously. Before Mit could figure it out, Kaka pointed to a hollow tree trunk and said, “Look, Mit! There’s something shiny in there. Go check it out!”
Curious, Mit crawled inside the hollow trunk, his tiny frame just fitting. The moment Mit was inside, Kaka quickly placed a few large leaves over the entrance, giggling as he concealed his brother.
Meanwhile, their mother returned to the clearing and immediately noticed Mit was missing. “Kaka, where is your brother?” she asked, her voice filled with concern.
Kaka tried to act nonchalant, but his twitching tail betrayed his guilt. “I don’t know, Mom,” he said, avoiding her gaze.
Their mother began searching the area, calling out, “Mit! Where are you?” Her worried voice echoed through the forest, and Kaka started to feel a pang of guilt.
Inside the tree trunk, Mit chirped softly, “I’m here!” but his voice was muffled. Hearing this, their mother rushed toward the sound and quickly uncovered the leaves. There was Mit, his little face peeking out, looking confused but unharmed.
“Kaka!” their mother said sternly, “Why did you hide your brother? That’s not funny!”
Kaka hung his head, realizing his prank had gone too far. “I’m sorry, Mom. I was just playing,” he admitted.
Their mother sighed, pulling both of them close. “You must always take care of each other,” she said gently.
Kaka nodded, and Mit gave him a forgiving smile. The two brothers promised to be kinder, but deep down, they knew their playful antics would never really end.
