Baby Bella Was Warned Before Mom Dressed Her Up

It was early morning in the cozy little home where baby monkey Bella lived with her loving but sometimes strict mom. The sunlight streamed through the open window, and Bella was still busy playing with her favorite soft toy. She was in no mood to stop her fun, but Mom had already decided — it was time to get Bella dressed for the day.

“Bella, come here,” Mom called gently at first. Bella glanced up but quickly turned back to her toy, pretending not to hear. Mom sighed and tried again, this time a little firmer. “Bella, you need to get dressed. Don’t make me warn you again.”

Bella’s ears perked up. She knew that tone — it was Mom’s “serious” voice. Still, the little monkey hesitated, pouting as she clutched her toy tighter. Mom walked over, gently taking the toy away and setting it aside. Bella’s lower lip trembled. She didn’t like being interrupted, and she certainly didn’t like the idea of getting dressed when she was still in her playful mood.

“Listen, Bella,” Mom said softly but firmly, “if you don’t let me dress you, we can’t go outside to play later.”

That got Bella’s attention. Her eyes widened, and she let out a small, whiny cry — not because she didn’t want to go, but because she didn’t like giving up the fight so easily.

Reluctantly, she shuffled over to Mom, letting her put on the tiny outfit. As Mom buttoned the last piece, Bella let out a dramatic sigh, making Mom chuckle. “You’re such a little drama queen,” she teased, kissing Bella’s forehead.

Though she had been warned, Bella soon forgot her frustration as Mom scooped her up, ready to take her outside for a fun day together.
