Luna Screams Loudly Missing Daddy Outside

The afternoon sun was warm, but inside the small home, baby monkey Luna’s cries filled the air. She had been waiting all morning for her daddy to play with her, but instead, he had gone outside to work. At first, Luna sat quietly by the door, her big eyes watching every movement outside, hoping Daddy would come back soon.

But as the minutes turned into an hour, her patience ran out. Her tiny chest puffed as she let out the loudest scream she could manage. “Daaadddyyy!” she seemed to call in her own baby monkey way, tears streaming down her soft cheeks. She stomped her little feet and gripped the edge of the door, shaking it as if it would magically bring him back inside.

Mom tried to soothe her, gently rubbing her back. “Luna, Daddy is just working. He’ll come back soon,” she said softly. But Luna wasn’t convinced. She wanted Daddy now. The more Mom tried to calm her, the more Luna’s cries grew louder, echoing through the house like a tiny alarm bell.

Outside, Daddy could hear her little voice calling for him. He smiled sadly, knowing how much she missed him, but the work had to be done. He quickly finished the task and walked toward the house.

The moment Luna spotted him, her crying stopped mid-sob. She rushed into his arms, clinging to him as if she would never let go again. Daddy held her close, kissing her head.

“I’m here now, my little girl,” he whispered.

Luna finally relaxed, her tears replaced with tiny giggles. For her, Daddy’s return was the happiest moment of the day — proof that no matter how long he was away, he would always come back to her.
