Little Yuri was not in the mood to listen. Her tiny body shook with frustration, her voice echoing loudly through the room. She had wanted her mom to sit down beside her, to hold her close in the comfort she always longed for. But when mom refused, thinking Yuri needed a little independence, the baby monkey’s heart broke in an instant.

She began crying so loudly, stamping her little feet against the floor, her face red with temper. Her arms stretched out desperately, as if begging, “Why won’t you sit with me? Why won’t you stay?” Every sound that came from her mouth carried pure sadness mixed with anger.

Mom bent down, speaking softly, her hands reaching to soothe the little one. “Yuri, why are you so angry, my baby?” she whispered, as though the tiny monkey could answer in words. Yuri, however, only cried harder, her tears falling like raindrops as she shook her head stubbornly.

Mom didn’t give up. She stroked Yuri’s back, kissed her forehead gently, and finally sat down, pulling the baby monkey close into her arms. Slowly, Yuri’s trembling eased. Her cries grew weaker, replaced by small hiccups as she buried her face against mom’s chest. The anger melted, leaving only relief and comfort in the warmth of being held.

For mom, it was a reminder of how deeply these little ones depend on love, patience, and closeness. For Yuri, it was proof that no matter how angry or sad she felt, mom’s arms would always be her safe place.

The tantrum was over, but the bond was stronger than ever.
