Luna Angry Jump Near Mom Chicken Ends in a Peck

It was a sunny morning, and little Luna, the spirited baby monkey, was bursting with energy. She had been sulking earlier after Daddy scolded her for throwing a tantrum over breakfast. Still upset, Luna stormed off, her tiny face scrunched in anger, her feet stomping through the yard like a little storm cloud.

She spotted Mommy Chicken sitting peacefully under the shade, her wings spread wide around her chicks. Luna, in her frustrated state, didn’t think twice—she bounced up and down, letting out high-pitched squeals near the hen, as if demanding someone, anyone, to give her attention.

But Mommy Chicken didn’t like being startled—especially not when she had babies of her own to protect.

With a sharp cluck and a sudden flap of wings, the chicken lunged toward Luna, pecking once, fast and fierce. Luna jumped back in shock, her eyes wide, her voice cracking into a loud, scared cry.

“Eeeeee!” she wailed, running toward Daddy, her little arms stretched out, tears dripping down her cheeks.

Daddy rushed over, scooping her into his arms. Luna buried her face into his chest, still sniffling and trembling. The chicken had only given a light warning peck, but for little Luna, it felt like the whole world had turned against her.

She clung tightly to Daddy, realizing she had made a big mistake. The angry bouncing and loud crying near the calm mother hen wasn’t the best idea.

Later, Luna sat quietly, holding a piece of banana in her lap while Daddy gently patted her back. She had learned something today—not just about chickens, but about how her own actions could affect others.

Even the loudest baby monkeys sometimes need a reminder: the world doesn’t always spin around their tantrums.
