Cici’s Itchy Belly Trouble

Comments Off on Cici’s Itchy Belly Trouble

Little baby monkey Cici was usually the happiest one in the group — always playful, always smiling. But today was different. Her tiny hands wouldn’t stop scratching her round little belly. She kept rubbing, scratching, and twisting, trying to reach that stubborn itch.

It started early in the morning, right after breakfast. Cici had just finished drinking her milk when she suddenly began scratching. At first, her caregiver thought she was just being silly, but the longer it went on, the more worried everyone became.

“Cici, what’s going on?” her human caregiver asked softly, kneeling beside her. But Cici just kept scratching with both hands, whining quietly. Her face was full of frustration. She even tried rolling on the soft blanket, hoping it would help relieve the itching, but nothing worked.

The caregiver gently lifted Cici into their arms and checked her tummy. It looked a little red — maybe from a rash or irritation. They carefully cleaned her belly with warm water and a soft cloth. Cici whimpered a little, but she trusted the gentle hands that cared for her.

Next, the caregiver applied a soothing cream to help calm the itch. Cici flinched at first, but soon the cool feeling of the ointment made her relax. Her little fingers stopped scratching, and her frown slowly turned into a soft sigh.

Wrapped in a cozy towel, Cici finally rested in her caregiver’s lap. Her eyes blinked sleepily as the irritation faded.

“Poor baby,” the caregiver whispered, stroking her head. “No more scratching now.”

Cici closed her eyes, her belly no longer itchy, and drifted off to sleep — peaceful once again, knowing she was loved and safe.
