Baby monkey Bella was full of energy today. She ran, climbed, spun in circles, and jumped from one corner of the room to the other. But when it came time for her afternoon nap, she was too tired to make it to the bathroom area. Instead, she climbed onto her mom’s cozy bed—soft, warm, and perfect for a nap—and plopped down without a second thought.
Mom had just finished tidying up the space and laid out clean bedding. But moments later… Bella let out a little pee right on the bed! 😳
The warmth beneath her surprised Bella. She sat up with big, guilty eyes just as Mom walked in—and the smell gave it all away. Mom paused, looked at the wet spot, then at Bella. Her calm face turned serious.
“Bella!” her mom scolded gently but firmly.
Bella’s ears lowered, and she hugged herself, knowing she had made a mistake. She didn’t mean to do it—it just happened! But now Mom’s bed was all wet, and naptime had to be delayed. Mom grabbed fresh cloths and began cleaning the mess, shaking her head while Bella sat quietly nearby.
After the cleanup, Mom didn’t stay mad. She picked up Bella, gave her a quick pat on the head, and whispered soft words as if saying, “Just tell me next time, okay?”
Bella curled into her mom’s arms, relieved. Lesson learned—no more naps without a potty break first!
