It was bath day for baby monkey Bella and her little brother, Poy. The sun was shining softly through the leaves, and the tub was filled with warm water, ready for two playful little monkeys.
Surprisingly, instead of splashing or fussing, Bella and Poy sat calmly in the tub, side by side, like perfect little angels. Their big eyes watched the world around them as they waited patiently for their mom to start cleaning them.
Bella hugged her knees and looked at Poy, who blinked back at her with a tiny yawn. Neither one made a sound. Maybe they both knew how important it was to stay still—or maybe they were just too relaxed in the warm water to move.
Their mom arrived soon, carrying a gentle cloth and a small bowl of water. She smiled proudly at her babies. “Such good little ones,” she whispered, gently dipping the cloth and starting with Bella’s tiny ears.
Poy didn’t flinch as the water touched his fur. He leaned slightly into his mom’s hand, feeling safe and warm.
Bella let out a small sigh, her tail curling in delight as her face was gently cleaned. No tantrums, no squeals—just quiet, peaceful bonding between a mother and her two well-behaved little monkeys.
After their bath, mom wrapped them both in a soft towel and gave them kisses on their heads. Bella looked up with sleepy eyes, while Poy leaned into his mom’s chest.
For a moment, everything was still—just the sound of birds outside and the love of a mother giving care.
These peaceful bath moments may be small, but to Bella and Poy, they’re full of trust, comfort, and love.
