Poor A Tong Cries for Milk Before Bed

Comments Off on Poor A Tong Cries for Milk Before Bed

As the sun began to set and the sky turned soft orange, little A Tong started to grow sleepy. His tiny body had been full of energy all day—climbing, playing, and exploring. But now, his eyes drooped, and he began to look for the one thing that brought him comfort: milk.

He shuffled to his usual spot, cuddling into a blanket, glancing around with wide, hopeful eyes. He waited quietly for a moment, then let out a soft whimper. There was no milk yet.

The whimper grew into gentle cries. “Eee… eee…” he called, looking toward his caretaker or mom. His little lips quivered, and tears welled up in his big brown eyes. It wasn’t a loud tantrum—it was a heart-melting, pitiful cry, filled with longing and need.

Milk wasn’t just food for A Tong—it was warmth, love, and the signal that it was safe to fall asleep. Without it, his small world felt a little too big and unfamiliar.

Seeing him cry broke hearts instantly. A caretaker quickly rushed to prepare his warm bottle. But to A Tong, every second felt like forever. He curled into himself, sucking on his fingers, sniffling softly.

Finally, the bottle arrived.

As soon as it touched his lips, his cries stopped. He held the bottle with both tiny hands, drinking slowly, eyes blinking sleepily. His breathing calmed, and the corners of his mouth curled into a peaceful expression.

Within minutes, A Tong was fast asleep, his belly full and his heart comforted.

Some babies need lullabies, some need teddy bears—but for baby A Tong, nothing ends the day better than warm milk and love. 🍼💤🐒
