BiBi Gets Scared of Daddy Before Mealtime

Tiny baby monkey BiBi was sitting quietly near the feeding spot, her tummy rumbling with hunger. It was her favorite time of day—mealtime! Usually, she would jump and squeak with excitement when food arrived. But today, something felt different.

As her daddy walked toward her holding a small plate of banana slices, BiBi suddenly froze. Her big round eyes widened, and she hugged her tiny arms around herself. Her body shrank back a little, and she let out a soft, unsure whimper.

Why was she scared?

Maybe it was the way Daddy looked serious today… or maybe she remembered when he had given her a loud warning yesterday for snatching food from her siblings. Whatever it was, BiBi felt unsure—and a little afraid.

Daddy stopped, noticing her reaction. His eyes softened. Gently, he bent down and offered a banana piece with a soft, comforting sound. Slowly, BiBi reached out with her tiny hand, sniffed the fruit, and took it. She looked into his eyes, still a little hesitant.

Then—Daddy smiled.

That was all it took. BiBi relaxed a bit, took a bite, and her tail started to wiggle. She wasn’t in trouble. Daddy just wanted her to eat nicely.

He patted her head gently and sat beside her while she munched happily.

Sometimes, even brave little monkeys like BiBi get scared, especially when they’re still learning the rules. But with kindness and patience, their little hearts feel safe again.
