Baby Minea sat on the ground, her tiny body trembling as she let out soft, sorrowful cries. Her little hands clenched into fists while she shook her head from side to side, as if trying to push away the sadness overwhelming her. It was unusual—Minea was always the mischievous, bold one. But today, something was different.
She had been playing happily when suddenly, her mother walked away without picking her up. Minea expected to be carried, cuddled, and comforted like always, but instead, she was left behind. The moment she realized it, her whole world seemed to collapse.
Her soft whimpers soon turned into louder cries. She shook her head stubbornly, refusing to accept what was happening. The other baby monkeys stopped playing and watched, surprised at the sight of Minea crying. She was never one to show such vulnerability.
Jueur, her little friend, cautiously approached and reached out to touch her, but Minea pulled away, still shaking her head in distress. She didn’t want anyone else—only her mother.
Finally, after what felt like forever, her mother returned. Minea’s big teary eyes lit up as she rushed forward, wrapping her tiny arms around her mother’s neck. Her cries softened into sniffles, her head resting against her mother’s fur.
With a gentle pat and a warm embrace, her mother reassured her. The sadness faded, and Minea, once again, felt safe.
