Mary, the tiny but clever baby monkey, had a habit of talking to everyone—even strangers! One afternoon, while playing in the yard, she noticed a man standing near the fence, watching curiously.
With her little hands gripping the wall, she climbed up skillfully, tilting her head as she observed the stranger.
“Hey! Who are you?” Mary chirped, her voice full of confidence.
The man chuckled. “Oh, hello there! I’m just passing by. What are you doing up there, little one?”
Mary puffed out her tiny chest. “I live here! But… if you bring me a banana, maybe I’ll let you talk to me more.”
The man laughed. “Oh, so I have to pay for a conversation, huh?”
Mary nodded. “That’s the rule. No banana, no talk!”
Just then, Mommy appeared, her eyes narrowing. “Mary! Get down from there! We don’t talk to strangers!”
Mary huffed, but she obeyed, jumping down gracefully. Before running back to Mommy, she turned to the man. “Next time, bring a banana!”
The man chuckled and walked away, shaking his head.
Mommy sighed, lifting Mary up. “You’re too friendly for your own good! No more climbing the wall, okay?”
Mary grinned. “Okay… unless they have bananas!” 🍌🐵😂
