Under the soft morning light, two tiny baby monkeys sat close together on the wooden floor, their small bellies rumbling with hunger. Tourtour and BeeBoy, the inseparable siblings, had been waiting for their mommy to bring them milk, but she was still busy.
Tourtour, the older one, hugged his little brother tightly. BeeBoy whimpered, his tiny hands gripping Tourtour’s arm as his eyes filled with tears.
“Mommy is coming soon,” Tourtour whispered, trying to comfort BeeBoy. But he, too, felt weak from hunger.
Suddenly, their ears perked up at the familiar sound of milk being poured into bottles. Their little eyes widened with hope!
Before Mommy could even finish, BeeBoy let out a desperate cry. “Milk! Milk!” He wiggled out of Tourtour’s hug, reaching his tiny arms toward his mom.
Mommy hurried over with the bottles, kneeling down as she gently handed one to each of them. The moment the warm milk touched their lips, both baby monkeys sucked hungrily, their cries fading into soft, happy gulps.
Mommy smiled as she watched them. “See? No need to cry so much,” she said, stroking their tiny heads.
BeeBoy looked at Tourtour, his little tummy now full. With a milk mustache on his lips, he grinned and hugged his brother again. Tourtour giggled, hugging him back.
The hunger had been tough, but their love for each other was even stronger. No matter what, they would always be there for one another. 💕🐵🐵
