Donny always knew his baby monkey, Chico, was full of energy, but today was something else. It started early in the morning when Donny gave Chico his favorite banana. Instead of eating it, the little troublemaker threw it across the room and screeched loudly.
“Chico, what’s wrong with you?” Donny asked, surprised.
But Chico wasn’t listening. He dashed across the room, knocking over a cup of water. Then he jumped onto the shelf, tossing books and toys onto the floor.
“Oh no, here we go again…” Donny muttered, already exhausted.
Chico wasn’t done. He zoomed into the kitchen, climbed onto the counter, and grabbed a handful of flour. With a mischievous look in his eyes, he threw it in the air—covering the entire kitchen in a white cloud of powder!
“CHICO!” Donny shouted.
The little monkey giggled wildly and ran back to the living room, where he started spinning in circles on the couch, making little monkey screeches.
By now, Donny had enough. “Alright, little guy, time to calm down.”
But Chico had one last move. He grabbed Donny’s hair and climbed on top of his head, clinging tightly. “Eeeeeek! Eeeek!” he screamed.
Donny sighed and sat down. “Fine. Go ahead, get it all out.”
After a few minutes, Chico’s wild energy finally ran out. He yawned, his little arms loosening their grip. Then, just like that, he curled up in Donny’s lap and fell fast asleep.
Donny shook his head and smiled. “You’re lucky you’re cute.”
He picked up his sleeping little troublemaker and carried him to bed, ready to clean up the chaos—until the next rampage!
