It was a warm morning, and little baby monkey Coco was playing in the yard, rolling around with his puppy friend, Bobo. The two had been playing in the dirt all morning, and now Coco’s fur was covered in dust, twigs, and tiny leaves.
Suddenly, Coco’s big sister, Lila, appeared with a knowing smile. “Coco, look at you! You’re all dirty again. It’s time for a bath!”
Coco’s eyes widened. Bath time?! He quickly clung to Bobo, hugging the little puppy tightly as if he could escape. But Lila gently picked him up. “Come on, little one. Papa will give you a nice warm bath.”
As they walked toward Papa, Coco whined softly, his little tail curling around Lila’s arm. Bobo followed behind, wagging his tail excitedly—he loved splashing in the water!
When they reached Papa, he was already preparing a basin filled with warm water. “Ah, here comes my messy little monkey!” he chuckled, reaching out to take Coco.
“Noooo!” Coco screeched playfully, wriggling in Lila’s arms. But Papa was quick. He scooped Coco up and placed him gently into the water.
SPLASH!
Water flew everywhere as Coco tried to escape, but Papa held him steady. “Relax, little one. It’s just a bath,” he said, rubbing Coco’s fur with gentle hands.
Meanwhile, Bobo jumped in too, making a big splash that soaked everyone. Lila laughed. “Looks like Bobo wants a bath too!”
After a few minutes, Coco calmed down, enjoying the warm water and Papa’s gentle scrubbing. Soon, he was clean and fluffy again.
As Papa wrapped him in a soft towel, Coco yawned and leaned against Lila. Maybe bath time wasn’t so bad after all…
