It was a peaceful morning, and baby monkey Yuri was playing on the wooden bed while his mom sat nearby, folding clothes. Everything seemed calm, but suddenly—“WAAAHHH!”
Yuri let out a loud, high-pitched scream, shaking his tiny body as if something had startled him. His eyes squeezed shut, and tears rolled down his cheeks. His little hands clenched into fists, and his tail curled tightly.
His mom jumped in shock, dropping the clothes she was holding. “Yuri! What happened?!” she asked, rushing over to him.
But there was no answer—just more crying. “WAAAHHH! WAAAHHH!” Yuri’s cries grew louder, his tiny face turning red.
His mom quickly checked him. Was he hurt? Was he hungry? Did something scare him? She patted his body gently, looking for any scratches, but there was nothing. Then she tried to give him a small piece of banana, but Yuri angrily turned his face away, still wailing.
“Oh, baby… what’s wrong?” she sighed, rubbing his back.
Then, just as suddenly as it started, Yuri stopped crying. His big round eyes blinked at his mom, and he sniffled. Just like that, his tantrum was over.
Mom stared at him in disbelief. “Yuri… you just scared me for nothing!” she said, shaking her head.
Yuri yawned and stretched his arms, acting as if nothing had happened. Then he climbed onto his mom’s lap, curling up like a sleepy baby.
His mom sighed and hugged him close. “You little troublemaker,” she whispered with a smile. Even though she was still confused, she was just happy he was okay.
