It was a peaceful afternoon in the backyard. Baby monkeys were playing near the bamboo trees, and everything seemed calm—until Monica lost her temper.
Minea, her little playmate, had accidentally taken Monica’s toy banana. It wasn’t on purpose, but Monica was already in a bad mood. Her eyes narrowed, and in one sharp second, she jumped forward and bit Minea’s arm!
Minea squealed in pain and surprise, tumbling onto her side. Her little face twisted into a cry, while the other babies froze.
Watching from a few steps away, Chamroeun’s eyes widened. The chaos was too much. With a loud shriek, he turned and ran full speed behind a flower pot, hiding his face with both hands. He was terrified that Monica might come for him next.
“Monica! Stop!” Mom rushed over immediately, lifting the aggressive baby monkey off poor Minea. “That’s not okay!”
Monica squirmed but was held firmly. Her little chest puffed out, breathing heavy, still upset. Minea, meanwhile, whimpered in Mom’s arms, rubbing her sore spot. It wasn’t serious, but it had scared her a lot.
Chamroeun peeked out cautiously. When he saw Monica being carried inside, he tiptoed over to Minea and gently touched her hand. He didn’t say a word—but his worried little face showed how much he cared.
Mom gave kisses to both Minea and Chamroeun, soothing their nerves.
As for Monica, she was given a short time-out to calm down and learn that biting was not the way to handle feelings.
It was a tough moment—but the family handled it with love, care, and a lesson everyone would remember.
