Baby Kasky Sitting Alone—His Face Looks So Hungry

Deep in the jungle, little Baby Kasky sat on a big rock, his tiny arms wrapped around his belly. His big, round eyes looked sad as he stared at the other monkeys eating delicious fruits.

His stomach growled loudly. Grrrrr!

Kasky sighed. He was too small to reach the high branches where the juicy bananas grew, and all the older monkeys had already picked the ones on the ground.

Just then, Mama Monkey spotted him sitting alone. She hurried over, her heart full of love. “Kasky, my little one, why are you sitting here all alone?”

Kasky looked up with teary eyes. “Mama… I’m so hungry,” he whispered.

Mama Monkey smiled gently. “Oh, my sweet Kasky, you should have told me!” She reached into the leaves beside her and pulled out a ripe, golden banana.

Kasky’s eyes widened. “For me?”

Mama peeled the banana and placed it in his tiny hands. “Of course! My little one should never be hungry.”

Kasky giggled happily and took a big bite. The sweet, soft fruit filled his tummy, and his sadness melted away. “Mmm! So yummy, Mama!”

Mama Monkey hugged him close. “Always tell me when you’re hungry, okay? I will always take care of you.”

With a full belly and a happy heart, Kasky smiled. He wasn’t alone—he had a mama who loved him more than anything in the world.
