Baby Donal woke up from his little nap with one thing on his mind: milk! His tiny stomach was empty, and he wanted Mommy to come immediately. At first, he made a few soft little sounds, looking around with his bright eyes and twitching his nose impatiently. But when Mommy didn’t appear right away, his little voice became louder and louder.
“Waaaah! Mommy! Mommy!”
Donal cried as if the whole world had forgotten about him. He waved his tiny hands, kicked his little feet, and looked toward the doorway every few seconds. He couldn’t understand why Mommy wasn’t standing beside him with his milk bottle already prepared. All he knew was that he was hungry, and he wanted his meal right now!
Meanwhile, Mommy was busy preparing his milk and making sure everything was ready for him. She could hear Donal’s cries from nearby, so she hurried to finish what she was doing. She knew that her little baby needed attention, comfort, and a proper feeding routine.
But Donal was not in the mood to wait.
He turned his head from side to side, searching for Mommy. Whenever he heard a sound, his little face brightened with hope. Then, when Mommy didn’t appear immediately, he let out another dramatic cry.
“Oh, my goodness, Donal! I hear you, sweetheart!” Mommy called gently.
Finally, she came into the room.
The moment Donal saw her, he stretched both arms toward her and cried even louder. His tiny face looked so serious that Mommy couldn’t help smiling sympathetically.
“Someone is very hungry today!” she whispered.
Mommy carefully picked him up, supporting his little body, and checked that he was comfortable. She spoke softly to him while preparing to feed him.
“It’s okay, baby. Your milk is ready.”
When Mommy offered his properly prepared milk, Donal eagerly began drinking. His loud cries gradually faded into quiet little sounds. His tiny hands relaxed, and his worried expression slowly disappeared.
Mommy watched him carefully throughout the feeding, making sure he was positioned safely and drinking comfortably.
“There you go, my impatient little boy,” she murmured. “You don’t have to shout so loudly. Mommy is here!”
Donal seemed to have forgotten all about his dramatic complaints. A moment earlier, he had been crying as though he couldn’t survive another second without milk. Now, he was peacefully enjoying his meal.
After finishing, he rested against Mommy, looking much calmer. She gently comforted him and gave him time to settle.
His little eyes became heavy, and he snuggled close to her, completely satisfied.
Mommy kissed the top of his head and smiled.
“My goodness, Donal. You certainly know how to tell Mommy when you’re hungry!”
Donal answered with a tiny sound, then nestled comfortably in her arms.
For Mommy, it was an ordinary feeding time. But for Donal, it was an enormous emergency that required the loudest cries imaginable!
And once his tummy was full, the little drama king was finally ready to relax.
