Little Yuri was in a very moody mood that day. Instead of playing or sitting nicely, she decided to lie down right on the ground.
Her tiny face looked grumpy.
She turned her back slightly and stayed there, acting as if she was angry with Mommy. The little monkey refused to move and pretended she didn’t want anyone to bother her.
Mommy noticed Yuri’s dramatic behavior.
“Yuri, come here,” Mommy gently called.
But Yuri didn’t respond right away. She stayed lying on the ground with her sleepy face, acting stubborn and ignoring the call.
It looked like she wanted to show that she was still upset.
Mommy called her again softly.
“Yuri… come to Mommy.”
For a moment, Yuri remained still. Then slowly, she opened her eyes and lifted her head a little. Even though she was still moody, she heard Mommy’s voice clearly.
Finally, Yuri pushed herself up from the floor.
She stood up slowly, still looking a little grumpy, and began walking toward Mommy. Her small steps showed that even though she was angry, she still wanted to be close.
When she reached Mommy, the grumpy little monkey leaned gently against her.
Mommy softly touched her head, and Yuri quietly stayed beside her.
Sometimes Yuri acts moody and stubborn, but deep down she still listens when Mommy calls.
No matter how upset she is, Mommy’s voice always brings her back.
