The sun began to set over the jungle, casting a soft, golden light across the trees. Baby monkey Ella, barely a few months old, sat alone on the branch of a tall tree. She stared out into the distance, her big eyes filled with confusion and sadness.

Ella had been abandoned by her troop, left behind in the bustling jungle as they moved on without her. She was too young to keep up with them, and now she found herself alone, with no one to protect or care for her.

Her tiny chest heaved as she let out a sorrowful cry, her voice echoing through the trees. “Mama! Papa!” she wailed, hoping someone would hear. But the jungle was silent. The sounds of the other animals were distant, and none of the other monkeys came to comfort her.

Ella hugged her tiny knees to her chest and cried harder. The little one was so small and fragile, unable to understand why her family had left her behind. She longed for the warmth of her mother’s embrace, the protection of her father’s strong arms, but all she had was the cold, empty forest around her.

Just then, a soft rustling sounded from below. Ella’s head shot up, her tears still falling as she looked down in desperate hope. There, standing at the base of the tree, was a kind human mom, her arms outstretched.

With a gentle, comforting voice, the mom called, “Don’t worry, sweet one. I’m here now.”

Ella’s cries softened as she felt the safety of the human’s presence, finally able to trust again. The journey ahead would be hard, but at least she wouldn’t be alone anymore.
