It was a bright, sunny morning in the backyard, and little Koy had a burst of energy like never before. While most of the baby monkeys were still stretching or sipping milk, Koy had other plans—a full-on jump show!
With a cheeky grin and sparkling eyes, she leapt from the cushion to the chair… then from the chair to the laundry basket… then back to the ground—all in a matter of seconds.
“WHEEEEEE!” Koy squealed with joy, her tiny legs bouncing like springs.
Mom watched from the doorway, her hand still holding a towel. At first, she just smiled… but as Koy kept going—jumping in circles, spinning, twisting mid-air like a gymnast—Mom burst into uncontrollable laughter.
“Haha! Koy! What are you doing, silly girl?!” she giggled, holding her stomach from laughing too hard.
But Koy was far from done. She puffed up proudly, turned to her mini audience (which now included a few curious baby monkeys), and did a double bounce into a roll. She popped up with arms raised like she had won a gold medal.
The others clapped. Mom was laughing so hard she had to sit down.
“You’re going to fly away at this rate!” she joked.
Koy ran over, jumped into Mom’s lap, and playfully tugged her hair. “More jumps?!” she squeaked, bouncing in place.
Mom wiped a tear from her eye. “Okay, okay—but no bouncing on my head this time!”
The backyard echoed with laughter and squeals. That morning, there were no tantrums, no whining—just pure joy from a little monkey who knew how to turn energy into smiles.
And from that day on, Koy was officially crowned the Jumping Queen of the yard.
