Lulu’s Tearful Call for Daddy’s Love

Tiny baby monkey Lulu sat alone near the edge of the yard, his eyes scanning every corner, searching for the one face he needed most—his daddy. The little one’s soft cries began to grow louder, turning into heartbreaking wails that echoed in the quiet morning air.

He had just woken up from a nap, feeling hungry and unsure. Usually, his daddy was right there, ready with warm milk or gentle cuddles. But today, for a few minutes, daddy had stepped away, tending to the other baby monkeys. Lulu didn’t understand. His small heart filled with panic, and he began calling out desperately.

“Eeehh! Eeehh!” he cried, crawling to the fence and looking around with wide, watery eyes.

Other baby monkeys watched but continued playing. Lulu didn’t want to play—he wanted comfort. He slapped his little hands on the floor, rocking side to side, crying out again. His tiny voice was full of sorrow, and it felt as if his whole world had gone cold.

Just then, daddy came into view, holding a milk bottle and calling, “Lulu!”

Lulu’s head shot up. With renewed energy, he rushed forward, arms stretched, voice still trembling. As daddy scooped him up, Lulu buried his face into his chest, clutching tightly like he never wanted to let go.

His cries turned into quiet sniffles as he was fed and held close. Daddy gently rubbed his back and kissed his little forehead, whispering, “I’m here, baby.”

Lulu’s eyes slowly closed, finally feeling safe and loved again. Even though he’s just a baby, his heart already knew where comfort lived—right in daddy’s arms.
