Miltan Cries as Mom Refuses to Share Food

Little baby monkey Miltan was full of energy and curiosity. But on this morning, his joy turned into frustration. He sat beside his mother, eyes wide with excitement, watching her eat a sweet, juicy banana. His tiny hands reached out, hoping for even a small bite.

But Mama had other plans.

She gently pulled the banana away, turning her back as she ate slowly. Miltan didn’t understand—it wasn’t just about food. It was a lesson. Mama wanted to teach him patience and self-reliance, as all wild monkey mothers do.

But to Miltan, it felt like heartbreak.

He cried loudly, his little voice echoing around the yard. He tugged at her arm, stomped his feet, and even rolled on the ground in a full tantrum. His face turned red with emotion, and his big eyes filled with tears. It was more than hunger—it was the sadness of not being comforted in the way he expected.

Other monkeys watched curiously. Some ignored him, some moved closer. Mama stayed calm, watching her baby’s reaction, waiting for the right moment.

Finally, after his loudest cry yet, she turned around.

She didn’t hand him the banana. Instead, she broke off a small piece and placed it near him. It was her way of saying: “Earn it, little one. I love you, but you must learn.”

Miltan sniffled and looked at the small offering. His tears stopped. Slowly, he took the piece and nibbled, still glancing up at her.

Mama pulled him close, grooming his head softly—her way of showing love.

The lesson was hard, but Miltan began to understand: sometimes love means waiting, learning, and growing.
