Luna Cries Alone Throwing Tantrum Just to Get Daddy’s Love

In the quiet corner of the living room, little Luna, the baby monkey, sat with her arms folded and her bottom lip pushed out. Her eyes were watery, and her tiny chest puffed with heavy breaths. Daddy was nearby, talking and playing with the others, but not looking at her—and that’s all Luna noticed.

She didn’t want toys, or snacks, or even her favorite pillow.

She wanted Daddy’s attention.

Her tail twitched impatiently. She tried to stay calm, but the feelings bubbling inside her were too much. Suddenly, Luna let out a loud cry, then another, her voice rising into a full-blown tantrum. She slapped the floor with her tiny hands and rolled over, kicking softly and whimpering with frustration.

Her dad turned around, surprised. “Luna?” he said, walking over.

But she only cried harder, turning away from him. She wanted him to know just how hurt she felt.

Her father gently scooped her up, and Luna tried to push him away at first—still mad—but he softly rocked her and whispered, “I’m sorry, my little one.”

That was all it took.

Luna sniffled, looked up at his face, and finally melted into his arms. Her tiny fingers curled into his shirt, and she let out one last sighing sob, now filled with comfort instead of anger.

The tantrum passed, and Luna was her sweet self again, nestled in daddy’s embrace.

Sometimes, even the tiniest hearts have big emotions, and all they need is someone who listens and loves them through it.
