Luna Cries Alone in Bathtub While Dad’s Away

Little Luna was usually a cheerful baby monkey—playful, curious, and full of giggles. But today, things took a turn. It was bath time, and Daddy Monkey had just filled the tub with warm water. As always, Luna sat on the edge, splashing her feet with joy. But just as she got comfortable, Dad suddenly remembered—he had forgotten the shampoo!

“Wait here, baby,” he said gently, and rushed off to grab it.

The moment he left, Luna’s smile faded. The water no longer felt fun—it felt scary. The soft echoes in the bathroom became loud, and the slippery tub felt like a strange, lonely island.

Suddenly, her tiny hands slapped the water. Her lips curled downward. Tears welled up in her big eyes. And then came the scream.

“EEEEEEE!”

A shrill, angry cry exploded through the room. Luna stomped in the water, splashing it everywhere. She waved her little arms in frustration, her voice rising with each second. She wanted Dad! She wanted him now!

The cries turned desperate. It wasn’t just anger anymore—it was fear. Why had he left her alone? Was he coming back?

Just then, Dad dashed back in, holding the shampoo bottle. But what he saw froze him. Luna was red-faced, sobbing, soaked, and looking straight at him with a broken heart.

He hurried over, lifted her out of the tub, and hugged her tightly. “I’m here, baby. Daddy’s here.”

Luna clung to him, hiccupping through her sobs. Slowly, her body relaxed in his arms. The anger melted into relief.

Next time, Dad promised, she would never be left alone in the tub again.

Because even brave little monkeys need someone by their side—especially during bath time.
