Little Molly was usually full of playful energy, hopping from one spot to another with joy. But today? Today was different.
It all started when Mom said “no” to her second bottle of milk.
Molly’s eyes widened. Her bottom lip quivered. And then…
BOOM!
A tantrum exploded like a volcano.
She threw herself backward onto the soft blanket, flailing her arms and legs in every direction. She screamed with such force that even the birds outside paused in mid-chirp. Her tiny fists pounded the floor. Her face turned red as she rolled side to side in complete frustration.
Molly wanted what she wanted, and she wanted it NOW.
Mom tried to soothe her with a gentle pat, but that only made Molly squeal louder. She twisted away, yanked her blanket, and kicked her tiny feet at the air.
“NOOOOO!” her body seemed to shout.
Her tantrum grew so intense that her favorite toy monkey was thrown clear across the room. Molly paused for a split second, looked at it… then screamed again, louder than before.
She was upset. She was dramatic. And she was absolutely adorable in the most chaotic way.
Finally, Mom scooped her up, cradling her against her chest. Molly resisted at first, grunting and pushing, but soon, the warmth and love calmed her down.
She sniffled. Her eyes fluttered.
And with a soft sigh… she melted into Mom’s arms, exhausted but comforted.
