Protective Mom Stops Yuri from Hurting Chamroeun

Little Chamroeun was quietly playing with his toy cup near the corner of the room, completely absorbed in his gentle monkey world. Nearby, Yuri, his moody older sister, watched him with narrowed eyes. Something about Chamroeun’s peaceful face seemed to annoy her today.

Without warning, Yuri dashed over and tried to yank the cup from Chamroeun’s hands. The little one shrieked in surprise, holding tight. But Yuri didn’t stop—she pushed him with both hands, trying to make him cry.

Mom, who had been watching nearby, immediately sprang into action.

“YURI! No!” she shouted, rushing forward and pushing Yuri gently but firmly away from her little brother.

Startled, Yuri stepped back, her face frozen in disbelief. Mom wasn’t angry often—but when she was protecting a baby, nothing could stop her.

Chamroeun clung to Mom’s leg, his little body shaking. He looked up with tearful eyes, clearly frightened.

Mom scooped him up with one arm, then turned to Yuri with a firm finger pointed. “You do not hurt your brother!” she said sternly. Yuri looked down at the floor, her tail twitching in frustration.

After a long pause, she muttered a little grumble and slowly backed away. Mom sighed and knelt down, placing Chamroeun safely in a basket filled with blankets.

Then, she turned to Yuri again—not with anger, but calm. “You’re the big sister. You have to protect, not hurt.”

Yuri sniffled quietly. Maybe she understood. Maybe not. But she didn’t try to touch Chamroeun again.

For now, peace returned. But Mom knew—raising monkey siblings wasn’t easy.
