ATong’s Big Cry Over a Missing Towel

Comments Off on ATong’s Big Cry Over a Missing Towel

It started as a simple morning routine. The sun had just risen, and little ATong had finished his warm bath, all wrapped up like a burrito in his favorite soft towel.

He loved that towel. It was warm, fuzzy, and made him feel safe—almost like Mom’s arms. But Mom, thinking it was time to get him dressed, gently pulled the towel away to dry it.

And that’s when it happened.

ATong froze for a moment… and then let out the most heartbreaking cry.

“Ee-ee-ee!!” he screamed, eyes filling with tears, arms flailing. He threw himself onto the bed dramatically, kicking his feet and burying his face in the sheet. His sobs echoed through the house, loud and desperate.

Mom gasped. “Oh no, baby! It’s just your towel!”

But ATong didn’t care. In his little world, the towel was everything—comfort, warmth, and safety all in one. And now it was gone.

He rolled back and forth on the bed, fists clenched, his tail twitching in frustration. He even refused to look at Mom, clearly feeling betrayed.

Trying not to laugh, Mom sat beside him and rubbed his back gently. “I’ll give it right back, okay? Just for a minute.”

She handed him the towel again, and instantly, ATong calmed. He clutched it tightly, snuggled into it like nothing had happened, and gave one final sniffle of protest.

His tantrum was over, the world safe again—at least until next bath time.

Mom kissed his forehead. “You little drama king.”

ATong blinked up at her, wrapped in his towel like a royal cape, already ready to forgive.

Sometimes, all a baby monkey needs… is just a soft towel and someone who understands.
