It was breakfast time in the bustling backyard, and the smell of fresh rice, fruit, and scrambled eggs filled the air. Everyone was excited—especially Cubin, the mischievous baby monkey who loved food more than anything else.
But today’s breakfast had an unexpected guest: Meow-Meow, the family cat, who decided she wanted a bite too.
As the humans laid down small plates for the animals, Meow-Meow approached gently, her tail swaying. She sniffed the bananas with interest. But before she could take a lick, Cubin pounced forward, arms wide like a greedy little king.
“Eeek!!” he squealed, swiping a banana slice and glaring at the cat. His cheeks puffed out with attitude. “Mine!”
Meow-Meow froze, startled. Cubin didn’t stop. He clutched more food and even tried to push the cat’s face away with his tiny hand. It was a full-on toddler tantrum over breakfast.
The cat gave a soft growl and backed off a little—but didn’t give up. She tried to circle around the plate again. This time, Cubin jumped in front, sat on the plate, and began stuffing his mouth with fruit at lightning speed.
The humans couldn’t stop laughing.
“Cubin! You’ve had enough!” Mom said, picking him up gently.
Still chewing, Cubin looked back at the cat and made a smug face as if he’d won a war.
Mom handed Meow-Meow a separate plate, and peace was restored—for now.
Cubin, now on Mom’s lap, pouted but eventually settled, sipping his milk and side-eyeing the cat from time to time.
That morning, the food may have been shared, but the drama belonged to Cubin.
