Little baby Bella has never been a fan of baths.
The moment she hears the splash of water in the tub, her eyes widen, and her tiny toes curl up. She knows what’s coming—and she’s already thinking of how to escape.
Today, as the sun beamed through the window, it was Bella’s bath day. The caretakers prepared the warm water, a soft towel, and her favorite baby soap. But Bella? She had other plans.
The moment they called her name, she darted behind a basket, peeking out with only her big eyes showing.
“Bella,” one caretaker warned gently, “no hiding today. Be a good girl, okay?”
Caught, she shuffled slowly toward the tub with a dramatic sigh. As soon as her feet touched the water, Bella started to wiggle and squirm, kicking little splashes in every direction.
“Calm, Bella. Calm,” her caregiver repeated.
But Bella was full of sass today. She tried climbing out, flopped over on her side, and even fake sneezed to get attention.
Finally, the caretaker held her gently but firmly and said, “Bella, you’ve had your warning. It’s time to be calm.”
Bella paused. Her little face scrunched up, thinking hard. Then—like magic—she relaxed. She sat still, let the warm water run over her, and even enjoyed a gentle rub on her back.
By the end, she was squeaky clean and wrapped in a warm towel like a burrito, her tantrum totally forgotten.
Sometimes, even the feistiest babies need a little warning to behave.
And Bella? She may be dramatic—but she’s also adorable. 🐒🛁💕
