Baby Brady Returns to Libby & Rainbow Reunites with Rose

On July 29th, 2022, something beautiful happened—two lost baby monkeys finally made it back into their mothers’ arms.

Tiny Brady, who had been separated from his mom Libby for days, looked confused and heartbroken. Every day, he cried out, searching for her. Libby, too, showed signs of sadness, often looking around for her baby and refusing to eat much.

At the same time, Rainbow, another baby, was also far from home—away from his loving mom Rose. The little one had become quiet and withdrawn, clearly missing the warmth and comfort only a mother can give.

Caretakers at the wildlife center worked tirelessly, watching the babies’ behavior, listening to their cries, and planning the moment when reunification could be safe.

And on that very special day—July 29th—the wait was over.

First, Brady was gently brought near Libby. The moment she saw him, her eyes lit up. She rushed forward, scooping him into her arms, sniffing him all over and hugging him tightly. Brady, overwhelmed, clung to her and let out a long, soft cry of relief.

Next came Rainbow’s moment. Rose was already pacing, sensing something special. When Rainbow was placed near her, she didn’t wait—she ran to him, wrapped him close, and rocked him gently.

Tears of joy flowed from the caretakers too. After days of worry, both babies were back where they belonged.

Though the journey was hard, the reunions were pure magic. And from that day on, Brady and Rainbow never left their mothers’ sides again.
