Baby Tantan was in his usual spot—happily drinking from his milk bottle, with the cap firmly in place. It was his favorite part of the day—his warm, comforting milk, right there in his hands.
But today was different.
Mom noticed the cap on his bottle was getting loose, and she reached out to take it off to clean it.
As soon as Tantan saw what she was doing, his tiny face transformed into a frown.
“Nooooo!” he shouted, his eyes widening with disbelief.
Mom, why?
Without a second thought, Tantan shrieked loudly, his voice piercing the air.
“WAAAAAHHHHH!”
Tears flooded his little face, and his tiny hands grabbed the bottle, trying desperately to keep the cap in place.
He was furious! This was his milk—his time!
Mom quickly tried to calm him down, but Tantan’s tiny body tensed up in protest.
“Mom, why are you taking it?!” he cried, his voice cracking with anger.
But Mom gently explained, “Tantan, sweetie, we need to clean the cap. It’s okay, I’ll give it back.”
But Tantan wasn’t listening.
He kicked his legs and cried even louder, the frustration clearly written across his face. He was so upset, it was like the world was falling apart.
Finally, after what felt like forever, Mom gave the cap back, and Tantan’s tears stopped instantly.
He grabbed the cap, put it back on, and then, with a satisfied “Ahhh,” he continued drinking—finally content again.
“There, my little spoiled one,” Mom whispered, giving him a kiss.
Tantan, now peacefully drinking, gave a little smile.
