It was mealtime, and ATong was sitting in his little corner, happily munching on his favorite treat. His tiny hands clutched the food tightly, like it was the most precious thing in the world.

Mom watched from the other side of the room, feeling a little hungry herself. She knew ATong had more than enough food, so she decided to ask him nicely if he would share a little bit.

“ATong, sweetie, can you share with Mom?” she asked, her voice gentle and soft.

Mom’s patience started to wear thin, and she chuckled, realizing just how stubborn ATong could be when it came to food.

“Okay, little one, if you won’t share, I’ll just have to wait my turn.”

ATong, feeling a bit guilty deep down, finally relented. He looked up at Mom and then, with a little sigh, offered her a tiny piece.

“Here, Mom.”

Mom smiled, giving him a kiss on the forehead. “Thank you, my sweet boy.
