Tiny Luca sat on the soft blanket, his little hands clutching the air.
His big, round eyes scanned the room—but Mom wasn’t there!
His tiny lips quivered. His heart squeezed.
Then—it happened.
“WAAAAAAAH!!”
Luca burst into loud cries, kicking his tiny legs.
His little fists pounded the floor. Tears rolled down his soft cheeks.
“Moooom!!” he wailed.
The other baby monkeys stared.
Jelly whispered, “Uh-oh… Luca is upset!”
Emma tilted her head. “Where’s Mom?”
Minea giggled. “She’s coming soon, but he’s too dramatic!”
But to Luca, it felt like forever.
His tiny chest heaved as he sobbed louder.
Then—footsteps.
A familiar scent… warmth… safety.
Mom appeared.
“Oh, my sweet baby,” she cooed, rushing to scoop him up.
Luca clung to her tightly, his tiny fingers gripping her fur.
Mom kissed his little head. “I was just away for a moment, baby. You’re safe.”
Luca sniffled. His cries softened.
His little face nuzzled into Mom’s chest.
Mom rocked him gently. Her warmth melted his worries away.
And just like that—Luca was comforted.
