Tiny A Tong sat on the floor, his little hands gripping his blanket.

Mom had just scolded him for being too naughty.

He hadn’t meant to spill the milk… or knock over the bowl… or pull on Minea’s tail.

But now, Mom was upset.

A Tong’s heart sank.

His tiny lips quivered.

His big, round eyes filled with tears.

“Mommy…?” he whispered, voice shaky.

But Mom was still tidying up the mess.

A Tong sniffled, his chest rising and falling fast.

Then—a single tear rolled down his cheek.

Then another.

Then—“WAAAAAH!!”

A Tong burst into loud sobs, crawling toward Mom.

“Mommy, I’m soooo sorry!” he cried, his little hands reaching for her.

Mom turned around, her heart softening at the sight of his tearful little face.

She knelt down, scooping him into her arms.

“Oh, my baby,” she whispered, wiping his wet cheeks.

A Tong buried his face in her chest, still sniffling.

“I didn’t mean it, Mommy…” he whimpered.

Mom kissed his forehead. “I know, sweetheart. I love you, no matter what.”

A Tong hiccupped, his tiny arms hugging Mom tight.

The sadness melted away as she rocked him gently.
