Dad Feeds Milk to a New Baby Monkey Who Just Arrived Home

The tiny baby monkey had just arrived at his new home, and everything around him felt strange.
He was so small that Dad could easily hold him in the palm of his hand. His little eyes moved from one corner of the room to another, trying to understand where he was. The sounds of footsteps, doors, and unfamiliar voices made him nervous.
He curled himself tightly into a soft blanket and made a few quiet little cries.
Dad immediately noticed.
“Hey, little one. You’re okay,” Dad whispered gently.
The baby had traveled a long way and seemed exhausted. Dad knew the newborn needed warmth, rest, and appropriate feeding, so he prepared the milk according to the care instructions provided for him.
When Dad returned, the tiny monkey smelled the milk and became slightly more alert.
Dad sat down beside him.
“Are you hungry?”
The baby opened his mouth and made a tiny sound.
Dad carefully supported his fragile body and offered the bottle. The baby hesitated at first. He looked at Dad with wide, uncertain eyes, as if he were still trying to decide whether this strange new person could be trusted.
Dad didn’t rush him.
He waited patiently and spoke in a calm voice.
“It’s okay. Take your time.”
After a few moments, the newborn finally began drinking.
Dad’s face immediately filled with relief.
The tiny monkey drank slowly, pausing several times. Dad kept him securely supported and watched carefully throughout the feeding.
As the baby continued drinking, his little hands relaxed.
The frightened expression on his face slowly disappeared.
Dad gently smiled.
“That’s better, little buddy.”
The baby seemed to recognize that he was being cared for. After finishing his feed, he made a tiny satisfied sound and rested against Dad.
But the journey had clearly made him tired.
His eyes began closing.
Dad gently kept him warm and comfortably supported while he rested. The newborn’s breathing became calm, and within minutes, he was almost asleep.
Then suddenly, the baby opened his eyes again.
He looked around.
Dad was still there.
The little monkey slowly relaxed.
Dad chuckled softly.
“Yes, I’m still here.”
The baby tucked his face against the blanket and finally fell asleep.
Dad stayed nearby for a while, watching over him.
He knew the first night in a new home could be frightening for such a tiny newborn. There would be many things to learn—feeding, sleeping, getting used to new surroundings, and most importantly, learning that he was safe.
Dad gently whispered:
“You don’t have to be scared anymore. We’ll take everything one little step at a time.”
The tiny monkey slept peacefully.
For Dad, it was only one small feeding.
But for this newborn baby, it was the beginning of a completely new chapter.
And as Dad watched the little baby sleep, he quietly promised himself that this tiny arrival would never have to face a new day without gentle care, patience, and protection.
