Poor Baby Monkey A Tong Feels Sad and Keeps Clinging to His Mommy

Tiny baby monkey A Tong woke up that morning with a sad little face. Unlike his usual playful self, he stayed quietly on his soft blanket, staring at Mommy without making a sound. His tiny eyes looked tired, and his little body seemed to want nothing more than to be close to her.

Mommy noticed immediately.

“What happened to my little A Tong?” she whispered.

As soon as Mommy reached toward him, A Tong slowly crawled into her arms. He pressed his tiny face against her chest and wrapped both little arms around her. He didn’t want to let go. Whenever Mommy tried to move even slightly, A Tong tightened his little grip and made a soft, unhappy sound.

“Are you feeling lonely, sweetheart?” Mommy asked gently.

A Tong answered with a quiet whimper.

Mommy sat down comfortably and held him against her chest. She gently stroked the soft fur on his head, hoping to help him feel safe and calm. A Tong remained completely still for a while, listening to Mommy’s heartbeat. Every now and then, he lifted his head to look at her face before quickly burying it against her again.

It was as if he simply needed reassurance that Mommy was not going anywhere.

“You can stay with Mommy,” she whispered. “I’m right here.”

Those gentle words seemed to comfort him. A Tong relaxed slightly, but he still refused to leave her arms. When Mommy shifted him onto the blanket beside her, he immediately reached out with both hands and tried to climb back toward her. His tiny expression looked so pitiful that Mommy couldn’t help but smile.

“Oh, you really want Mommy today, don’t you?”

A Tong made another little sound and rested his cheek against her hand.

Mommy carefully checked that he was warm, comfortable, alert, and showing no signs of illness or injury. Since sudden changes in behavior can sometimes mean a baby animal needs professional attention, she remained observant and followed the care guidance appropriate for A Tong. For now, he seemed to settle simply from being close to her.

After a while, Mommy offered him his appropriate feeding according to his care plan. A Tong was still hesitant at first, but with Mommy holding him securely and patiently, he began to feed. His tiny hands remained wrapped around her finger the entire time.

Little by little, his sad expression disappeared.

When he finished, A Tong gave a tiny satisfied sound and rested his head against Mommy’s arm. His eyes slowly became heavy. Mommy gently rocked him while whispering comforting words.

“You’re okay, little A Tong. Mommy is here.”

A Tong closed his eyes and finally relaxed.

The room became peaceful again. Mommy continued holding him while he slept, and the tiny monkey who had started the morning feeling lonely now looked completely comforted. Sometimes, A Tong didn’t need anything complicated. He simply needed warmth, patience, and the reassuring feeling of being close to the one he trusted most.

And that morning, Mommy was more than happy to give him exactly that.
