The morning began with an unexpected little arrival.
Mom had been waiting anxiously when a tiny newborn pigtail monkey was finally brought to the house for adoption.
He was incredibly small and fragile, with soft fur, tiny hands, and wide, curious eyes.
It was his very first day in a completely new home.
At first, the newborn seemed frightened.

Mom approached slowly and spoke in a gentle voice.

She followed guidance from an appropriate wildlife or veterinary caregiver regarding warmth, feeding, hygiene, and monitoring.
Everything was done slowly and carefully.
Later, when it was time for nourishment, Mom prepared the feeding exactly as instructed.

He looked at the bottle, then back at Mom.
She patiently gave him time.
After a few gentle attempts, he began taking small sips.
Mom’s face lit up.
“Good little one.”
The baby rested peacefully afterward.
