The house was unusually quiet that afternoon, a rare moment of peace in the chaotic lives of the baby monkeys. Yuri, a sweet and gentle little one, was sitting on a soft blanket, playing with her tiny stuffed toy. Meanwhile, Minea, the mischievous troublemaker, lurked nearby, her sharp eyes fixed on Yuri.
Minea was in one of her nasty moods. Feeling jealous that Yuri had the toy, she decided to make her move. Sneaking closer, Minea suddenly grabbed Yuri’s feet and sank her tiny teeth into them.
“Eek! Ow!” Yuri screamed, dropping her toy as pain shot through her little body. Tears welled up in her big, innocent eyes as she frantically tried to pull her feet away from Minea’s tight grip.
“Mommy! Help!” Yuri cried, her voice trembling with fear and pain.
In the kitchen, their mom heard the commotion and rushed to the scene. She found Yuri crying uncontrollably, her feet red with small bite marks, while Minea stood nearby, looking defiant and unrepentant.
“Stop it, Minea!” Mom scolded, scooping Yuri into her arms. She held Yuri close, gently rubbing her back to calm her down. Yuri buried her tear-streaked face into Mom’s chest, seeking comfort and protection.
Turning to Minea, Mom frowned. “That’s very naughty, Minea. You know better than to hurt your sister.” Minea pouted, realizing she was in big trouble, and shuffled away to a corner.
Mom cleaned Yuri’s tiny feet, kissing them softly after applying ointment. “You’re safe now, sweetheart,” she whispered, rocking Yuri gently.
Though still shaken, Yuri started to calm down, her sobs turning into quiet sniffles. She felt safe in Mom’s arms, knowing that no matter what, her mom would always protect her.
