Baby Monkey Jasmine Kicks Mom for Ignoring Her

The morning started peacefully in the small monkey family’s corner — until Queen Jasmine, the tiny yet bossy baby monkey, decided she wasn’t getting enough love. She sat proudly on the mat, her little face full of attitude, her eyes fixed on Mom, who was busy cleaning the floor and preparing milk.

At first, Jasmine waited patiently, watching every move. But when Mom didn’t turn to her, her tiny lips began to tremble. She wanted cuddles — not cleaning time! A few seconds later, she let out a loud whine, then screamed in frustration, stamping her tiny foot on the ground.

Mom looked back and smiled softly. “Just a minute, baby,” she said. But Jasmine had no patience left. With a sudden burst of anger, she climbed closer, puffed up her cheeks, and kicked Mom’s leg with her little foot!

“Hey! What’s this, my naughty queen?” Mom said, half surprised and half amused. Jasmine folded her arms, turning away dramatically. Her tail flicked side to side — a perfect mix of anger and pride.

Mom giggled quietly, knowing her baby was just jealous. She reached out her hand, but Jasmine refused to look at her. She gave a little “hmph,” pretending to be upset.

A few seconds later, Mom tried again, this time holding out a small piece of banana. Jasmine peeked at it from the corner of her eye, still pouting. But her love for banana was too strong. She snatched it, still acting grumpy, and began to eat — slowly, as if to prove she wasn’t forgiving easily.

Mom laughed softly and leaned closer, whispering, “My little queen, you’re too funny.” Jasmine looked up, blinked, and finally climbed into her arms, pressing her face against Mom’s chest.

All the anger melted away in a heartbeat. She just wanted attention — to feel loved and safe. Mom kissed her tiny head and stroked her back gently. “See? Mommy’s here. No more kicking, okay?”

Jasmine cooed softly, curling up in Mom’s lap. Her little tantrum was over, replaced by warm cuddles and sleepy sighs.

Even queens, it seemed, needed love more than anything else.
