The golden afternoon sun glowed softly through the window as Daddy prepared the warm water for Minea’s bath. The little baby monkey sat nearby, curiously watching the bubbles form and the steam rise, her head tilting from side to side. She didn’t know yet that it was her turn to get cleaned — and when Daddy gently reached to pick her up, the confusion began.
At first, Minea squeaked softly, unsure of what was happening. But the moment her tiny toes touched the warm water, her whole expression changed. Her eyes widened, and her mouth opened into a loud, heart-wrenching cry. “Eeeeh! Eeeeh!” she screamed, flailing her arms, splashing water everywhere. The calm afternoon instantly turned into a noisy storm.
Daddy laughed softly but spoke in a gentle tone, “It’s okay, baby girl. Daddy’s just washing you, see?” He poured water gently over her back, careful not to startle her, but Minea was already in full tantrum mode. Her little body twisted and turned, trying to escape the bath, her cries echoing through the room like a tiny siren.
Water splashed onto Daddy’s shirt and face, but he didn’t mind. He just smiled patiently, knowing this was part of her growing moments. “Shh, it’s okay,” he whispered again, cupping water with one hand and washing her fur gently with the other. Slowly, the warmth began to soothe her.
Minea’s cries grew softer, replaced by small sniffles and little sighs. Her trembling stopped as Daddy rinsed the last bit of soap off her fur. When he lifted her out and wrapped her in a soft towel, she finally relaxed, snuggling into his chest.
Her eyes fluttered sleepily, her earlier cries forgotten. Clean, warm, and safe in Daddy’s arms — the day ended in peace and pure love
