Newborn Jenna looked absolutely precious this morning — her eyes barely open, her tiny lips puckered as she waited for her bottle. The moment Daddy held it close, Jenna reached out with her little hands, eager and impatient. She latched on instantly, drinking with all her might, her soft cheeks moving quickly as if she hadn’t tasted milk in ages.
Each gulp was followed by a tiny squeaky sound, her way of saying, “More, Daddy, more!” Daddy chuckled softly, watching her drink with unstoppable energy. “Slow down, my little one,” he whispered, but Jenna didn’t want to stop. The warm milk made her feel so happy, so safe — it was like her favorite dream coming true.
Minutes passed, and soon her tiny belly began to round up like a soft little balloon. Still, she tried to keep going, her eyes closing halfway as she fought sleepiness from being so full. When Daddy gently pulled the bottle away, she frowned in protest, letting out the softest little whine.
“Enough, baby,” he said lovingly, wiping the milk from her lips. She blinked, sighed, and finally gave in, resting her tiny hand on her round tummy. Her breathing slowed, and she fell asleep right there in his arms — full, safe, and content.
Daddy smiled as he gazed down at her. Her tiny chest rose and fell softly, her fur warm against his skin. For a newborn so small, Jenna already had the biggest heart — and the biggest appetite!
That night, her dreams were surely sweet — full of warm milk, gentle cuddles, and the unbreakable love that now surrounded her.
