Naughty Luna Runs Away from Milk

Comments Off on Naughty Luna Runs Away from Milk

Baby monkey Luna was full of mischief that morning. When her mother tried to offer her milk, she turned her little head away with a stubborn squeak. Instead of drinking, she wriggled free and darted off, her tiny feet pattering across the floor. Her mother called after her, but Luna only giggled in her own cheeky way, proud of her rebellion.

With a burst of energy, Luna dashed farther, her tail bouncing behind her. She thought she was clever—escaping the “boring” milk time. But trouble followed quickly. In her playful sprint, she tripped on a small branch lying across the path. With no time to stop, Luna tumbled forward and landed face down on the ground.

For a moment, everything went still. Then came the soft whimpering. Luna’s mischievous giggles had turned into pitiful cries, her pride bruised along with her little nose. Her mother rushed over, lifting her gently and brushing the dirt from her tiny face.

Tears rolled down Luna’s cheeks as she clung tightly to her mom, suddenly realizing that maybe refusing milk hadn’t been such a smart idea. Her mother comforted her, pressing her close before offering the warm milk once more. This time, Luna didn’t resist. She latched on eagerly, drinking as though it were the sweetest gift in the world.

In her mother’s arms, safe and nourished, Luna’s naughty adventure came to an end. And though she would surely play tricks again tomorrow, she had learned that running away from care often leads to a fall—but love is always there to catch her.
