Ricky & A Tong Call for Mom’s Milk and Fruit

In the quiet yard just before noon, two little voices broke the silence — high-pitched cries filled with need. Baby Ricky and his best friend A Tong were sitting close together, their tiny bellies growling, eyes wide and watery. The sun warmed their soft fur, but their thoughts were only on one thing: food.

Both babies had been playing joyfully under the trees, chasing butterflies and climbing low branches. But as the excitement faded, hunger set in — and with no sight of their mother nearby, panic began to rise.

Ricky was the first to cry, his little arms reaching toward the empty space where he last saw his mom. A Tong joined in moments later, his voice louder, more demanding. Together, their cries became a chorus of desperation.

“Mamaaa…!” their tiny voices seemed to scream.

They looked around, sniffing the air, hoping for the smell of milk or a ripe banana. Ricky even crawled toward a pile of leaves, searching for anything familiar. A Tong clung to a tree trunk, peeking over the edge of the path as if he might spot her coming.

No answer. Only the breeze and the rustle of leaves replied.

After minutes that felt like hours to the babies, a soft rustle came from the distance — and then, the most beautiful sight: Mom returning with fruit in her mouth and milk ready. Relief swept over the little ones as they cried harder, this time with joy.

They rushed toward her with trembling arms, climbing onto her lap and pressing against her warm chest. Milk was given, bananas were shared, and peace returned.

In that small moment, their world was safe again. And their cries turned into happy, contented coos as they fed in love and comfort. 💞
